Family owned with 40+ years of experience
Footman Podiatry was created by father and son duo Barney & Steven Foster in 2023, with the aim of bringing high quality, professional podiatric care to Burton upon Trent and the surrounding areas. With a combined experience of over 40 years in both the NHS and private sector, we pride ourselves on our ability to treat any foot and ankle problem that walks through our door (pun intended)!
Our Podiatrists
All of our podiatrists are highly qualified and experienced in assessing and treating a wide range of foot problems. We firmly believe that our patients should have every confidence in us, and the safety and the quality of the treatments we offer. Each of our podiatrists has a degree in Podiatry (BSc) and is legally registered to practice with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC), the regulatory body that ensures clinicians are treating safely and to the highest standard. As well as this, all of our Podiatrists are DBS checked, which legally allows them to treat both adults and children. Finally, each of our Podiatrists is fully insured under the Royal College of Podiatry, through whom we undertake regular training for Continual Professional Development (CPD); keeping us up to date with the latest treatments and guidance around our practice.

Treatments we offer
Footman Podiatrists are pleased to offer a wide range of treatments, from more simple treatments such as basic nail care and thickened nail reduction, up to more complex issues such as ingrown toenail removal surgery and steroid injections.
We take pride in our ability to diagnose foot pathologies, discuss the various treatment options with our patients, and then implement any mutually agreed-upon treatment.
